We collect as little as we can to do our job. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Who we are
Layerkins is a brand of Phillippo Ventures LLC, an Alabama limited liability company ("we," "us"). Our website is layerkins.com.
What we collect
When you place an order or request a quote:
- Name and email address
- Shipping address (for orders)
- Order details and any materials (photos, sketches, files) you share with us
- Payment information — but we never see your card number. Stripe handles all payment processing and we receive only confirmation that payment succeeded.
When you visit the site:
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- Basic analytics if we enable them — we'll update this policy if so
How we use it
- To fulfill your orders and respond to your quote requests
- To communicate with you about your order
- To send you order confirmations and shipping notifications
- For our own records and tax requirements
We don't send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. We don't sell your data, ever.
Who we share with
- Stripe — for payment processing
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx as applicable) — to deliver your order
- Email service (Resend) — to send transactional emails to you
- Our accountant or legal counsel — only if necessary for business operations
- Law enforcement — only if legally required
How long we keep it
- Order records: 7 years (tax requirements)
- Quote requests we don't act on: 1 year
- Email correspondence: 2 years
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what we have on you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements for completed orders

Children
We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Cookies
Currently, the site does not use tracking cookies. If we add them in the future, we'll show a banner explaining what they do and give you the option to decline non-essential ones.
Changes
We'll update this policy as the business evolves. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent change.
